Pumpkin Patch

As we left the Traverse City, Michigan area, traveling south on our way home, we past quite a few places where you could buy squash, apples, pumpkins, etc, etc… but it wasn’t until we drove past this giant patch of pumpkins that you really got an appreciation for just how many pumpkins these people grow… This was just a snippit of the field, taken with my 200mm lens (so I didn’t get any extra’s in the composition); but there was this massive field just chock full. In fact, it was so full, I looked over and all I could see was what looked like a rolling sea of bright orange… it was just surreal…
