Looking back on my pictures of the Pacific beaches in Washington, I’m a bit disappointed. The driftwood is massive and many pieces look like they rolled up on the beach from the distant land of Gulliver’s travels or something. But, unfortunately, I didn’t include any people or objects to give much of a sense of scale. Anyway, point duly-noted… and for now, you’ll just have to take my word for it.

  1. Clear and I can feel the space.

  2. It does have a slight sense of scale as you have shot it from below, with mostly sky around it, so it can be assumed that it is large. Great shot!
