As we entered the quaint district of Port Townsend, in Washington State, we encountered a large shipwright co-op at the edge of the sound. Fortunately, we caught a red light right at the entrance to this facility, or else, we may have went past it without investigating. Inside were numerous crafts at various stages of repair and renovation. It was quite obvious on some of these ventures that much time and money had been invested in order to restore these vessels to proper working order and aesthetic glory. A few of the workers graciously let me sneak around and take some pics. I love these old wooden beasts the most. Maybe one day I’ll get my own finished!
