The School House

Posted: November 1, 2012 in HDR, Michigan, Nikon D90

Just outside the town of Glen Arbor, on the M-22 roadway, lies this little old red schoolhouse. Seeing images like this brings me a calming/comforting feeling, but I have no idea why. The majority of kids that probably attended this schoolhouse had to endure harsh cold walks in the Michigan winters just to get to school. Then they probably were rapt on their hands for talking while they attempted to endure a 12 hour school day (or however long it was back then) in the same small room. Still, it is very picturesque is it not?
