My wife and I stopped at this Europub for a beer while we were out sightseeing and shopping in Poulsbo, Washington. Poulsbo is a pretty neat little town on Liberty bay, and has roots deep in Scandinavian heritage. In fact, they have a Viking-Fest every year where apparently people dress like Thor and walk down the street. Just add beer… sounds awesome to me. Anyway, we had just finished up purchasing a viking hat for my nephew (who is as close to a real Viking as we have in the family) and we saw an awesome 2nd floor balcony that overlooked the main drag, and decided to check it out. Turns out it was Tizley’s Europub, and they served some good exotic beer, so we decided to stop. Here’s a shot of the front door, and steps leading up to the pub.
