Junction

Why is a picture like this interesting to look at? It’s literally just the junction of two parking garage structures… Well, mostly without realizing it, our eyes naturally follow lines and curves on pretty much any structure. “The lines on that Ferrari are awesome… Check out the curves on that (Insert random object of awesomeness)….” 

One of the challenges in composing a photograph, is to find a composition that leads the viewer into the picture, and makes them investigate it a bit, before clicking onto the next image. Structures like the one above are neat because they have the capability to draw the viewer in and explore the image. Plus, this particular structure had a neat pattern of repetition that added interest. Even if it was just two parking garages…
