The RF-86F “Haymaker” Sabre, pictured above, is featured in the Cold War Gallery of the National Air Force Museum in Dayton, Ohio. This particular aircraft flew secret reconnaissance missions over Soviet, North Korean, and Chinese territory in the 50’s. One interesting fact, is that the gun ports on the “Haymaker” aircraft were painted on, to look like the aircraft was armed, when in reality, it only held sophisticated camera equipment.
