Raking Light

This image is of a North American O-47B fighter. The aircraft had shortcomings with size and weight and therefore did not really get used for its original purpose. The same could probably be said of myself, however, through the years I have kind of lost track of what my “original purpose” was to begin with…

These older riveted-fuselage planes are  just so cool so photograph, because of the way the light spills over them and reflects and refracts everywhere. If you ever get a chance to visit the National Museum of the Air Force in Dayton, Ohio, you can see many examples of what I mean.
